Quinoa obsession

Since I had my first quinoa experience 3 years ago, I’ve been eating it once in a while. But for some reason, I haven’t been able to stop eating it for 2 weeks now. Used to cook it for one meal or maybe two meals(usually for dinner) but since I become a quinoa monster, I cook a lot of quinoa at once. How do I eat it?

With savory meal of course!

Love it!!!! HOWEVER quinoa is just so good with anything! Like with green monster??!!

yogurt, cottage cheese, banana and PB?

with some raisins in the PB jar?

Cottage cheese, yogurt, PB, raisins, and flax seeds or sunflower seeds?

If you are still hungry after having a cup of quinoa, how about with bruschetta and PB in the same cup?

All of them are SOOOOOO goooooooooood!!!!!

But how about basic quinoa stuff (cottage cheese, agave, and banana) featuring flax seed cracker!!!???

Basically got the idea from Averie’s but tiny lil bit of improvise.

Step 1. Soak flax seed in the water for 3 hours

Step 2. Blend with sunflower seeds, agave and cinnamon

Step 3. Spread it on the cooking sheet

Obviously before spread.

Step 5. Bake it. 330F, 45 min or so

Enjoy it!!

Like Averie said, this flax seed cracker recipe is a keeper!!

All right I think I’m going to have some quinoa with chocolate and ice cream soon!! : )

  1. I eat quinoa at least 3 times a week – I love it! I am pretty impressed with your cracker recipe – I am going to have to try that one of these days.

    It’s supposed to get to 100 this weekend! You may want to reconsider your boots and jacket. 🙂

    PS – I can’t way to visiting Casino Morongo – I still haven’t been there!
